FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I know if my child needs Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology?
If your child is facing challenges such as delayed speech, difficulty meeting developmental milestones, or concerns raised by educators, a thorough assessment with a qualified occupational therapist or speech pathologist can provide valuable insights. Early intervention is crucial for supporting the development of key skills in communication, sensory processing, motor abilities, play, and everyday tasks, helping your child build a strong foundation for growth and success.

What happens in the first session?
Our assessments provide an in-depth evaluation of your child’s communication and functional skills, with a focus on the areas that are of most concern. Through detailed information gathering, including interviews with parents, teachers, and caregivers, we gain a complete understanding of your child’s development and challenges. Sessions are designed to be either structured or flexible based on your child’s unique needs, our approach combines observation, play, and targeted activities to provide a clear picture of your child’s strengths and the areas where they may benefit from additional support.
